A place for prayer.
A Poem
Published on May 31, 2007 By Hazel Target In Poetry
Distraction at the rate of
twenty-four frames per second
of sleeping-limb numbness
of pureed passion screen-bleeding
into hollow heads or hollow hearts
like a tire-plug, just enough to last
until that heart or head
can be replaced entirely.

Of all the things I own,
I love my television the best.

As things go, I love the television too.
Here's my take on it.

Your writing always seems so mournful and sad. I hope there is some sunlight in your world, even if its just a few seconds.

You're a real talent-don't let the darkness eat away too much of you.

Thanks, and praying for you, Buddy M.
